As someone pointed out to me,its the Hall of Fame not the Hall of Great Players. Either it should be renamed or allow entry to very famous baseball players like Roger Maris,Pete Rose and Tommy John.They all are famous names in baseball history and should be so recognized.

In Pete Rose's case, it is not called the Hall of Infamous People.
IMHO, all the great milestones he achieved as a player should not be recognized by the Hall. Baseball, like Golf, should continue to hold its morals & ethics above the (sub)standards of everyone else. It will be a sad sad day when he is let in (which will eventually happen; once society deems gambling, prostitution and drugs 100% legal... and we're getting there).
