Milwaukee Finally?

Will the Brrewers shake off their cold spell and win this time?  I wouldn't hold my breath. The next two will be in warm Phoenix. Can they handle the comfort in October? The answer: I have to admit that I'm pulling the plug on the Diamondbacks.I am not being cruel .I am reverting to my previous realistic days near the beginning of this season when only talent level prevailed. They are a better team in any weather. Brewers- Detroit, nuff said.

I didn't understand the 'I wouldn't hold my breath' line - it infers that you don't think Brewers will prevail which follows suit with your past stance. But then you make a 180 and say Arizona doesn't have enough to make it happen? So I didn't quite understand.

If you ask me, I would say that if we have learned anything from baseball it would be that ANYTHING can happen. And I really truly mean ANYTHING!

Examples:
A team down 0-3 in a best of seven versus the very best and most talented team in baseball? "Never happened EVER before! It just can't happen now!" Ah! And so it came to pass in 2004 by your Happy-Go-Lucky RedSox!

A team on the verge of going on to the next round but only to lose because a foul ball is called foul and not an out? "That doesn't even make sense! That could never happen in a hundred years!!!"- one might say. Oh, but it did to the Cubbies only a few years ago.

A team out of playoff contention by 10+ games with 1 month to go? "That could never happen in a thousand years!!!" Once again, it has happened recently ala Colorado Rockies.

Even this year has its place in history: BOTH AL & NL wild card teams were down and out as recently as Sept 1 and yet both prevailed to come back and make it to the dance.

Anything can happen and we don't even need to look further than 2 weeks ago to believe it!
