Talent to Results Argument

How much do other factors besides talent,however measured (Moneyball,etc.) affect winning? They play the major role.  Losing focus for a moment,causing a dropped fly ball or a baserunning error,can change the result of a game. A questionable call by an umpire, a lucky bounce off an outfield wall, a missed sign influence games more than the straight stats or probabilities. Do they balance out over all teams? Yes,but not in a short series of games. Thats why we have to play every game ,one at a time. Beauty,ain't it?
